Tap the pen or highlighter to begin sketching notes with your finger or stylus. The sketch tools can be found at the bottom of the screen. You can now use your iPhone to create a new note with Evernote by tapping the blue plus sign icon () at the top left of the keyboard and then tapping Sketch.
When you save your notes, Evernote recognizes handwritten text and displays it in a search bar. Your diagrams, handwritten text, and audio recordings can be included right alongside your photos, audio recordings, and file attachments. When using Android, you can easily add handwriting directly by using your finger or stylus (such as the Pixelbook Pen). This is a great way to take notes on lectures or articles that you’re reading online, and it can be a real time-saver when you’re trying to remember something important. It allows you to use a stylus to write directly on the page, and then save your notes in the app for later reference. Simply right-click and select Annotate Entire Note as PDF and Evernote converts the entire note into a single PDF page for you to annotate.The Evernote app is a great tool for taking handwritten notes on webpages. Note: In Evernote for Mac, you can annotate a note even if it doesn't have images or PDFs. Delete PDF Page (only applies to PDFs): Deletes the PDF page currently being edited (available on desktop clients.).Rotate: Rotates the current image (or PDF page on a Mac) 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise.Blocks of text, rather than individual characters or words, appear as mirrored reflections of the original text once the image is flipped.
Flip (only applies to images on a Mac): Images are flipped horizontally (just as a page in a book is flipped from left to right or vice versa), and any annotations on the image are mirrored as well.The following editing options are available on the Mac (Legacy app) and iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: On Windows, select Edit > Clear Annotations.
For PDFs, this means that annotations made on every page in a PDF are removed. Clear Annotations: Removes all annotations on a particular image or on a PDF.The following editing option is available on all platforms and devices: You can access these options while in Annotate view by selecting the Options menu, usually located near the top of the screen. In addition to the annotation tools, Evernote provides other ways you can change the general layout of your images and PDFs.
